Algebra

 Hi everyone today we learnt about algebra! At first I thought it would be really hard but instead, It was way too easy, well in my opinion it was easy. So we first learnt that algebra is just normal maths but they add one more thing... VARIABLES, the variables were the alphabet so they basically added the alphabet in maths. There will be "How to learn Algebra" videos that I highly recommend. See yeah!

My Description Writing

 The sea

The flawless turquoise covers everything I can see. It's immeasurable color sparkles in the daylight. The sparkly and beautiful color is spellbinding holding me fast. 

I attempt to dive into the freezing water but instead I belly-flop and choke on the fluid, YUCK! The saline of the sea disgusts me. I feel betrayed, but I just can't leave for some reason. 

As I lie here I notice a gust of wind comes while the palm trees create it's little "Palm Tree Dance".  It waves from one side to the other which increases and slows as the wind that comes and goes. The wind shapes the palm tree which lets it become a part of shade for both the sea and sand.

My eyes uncontrollably float up to the azure sky, it's like my eyes were locked in place. I can see the crescent moon but I can also see the sun going down … I look at my watch and I realize how late it is. It's time to go...

Concrete Poem - Star

Hello everyone, today I did a Concrete Poem! We learn't that to make a Concrete Poem you need to draw a certain shape or thing and then your poem needs to describe your shape/thing. After that you can either put your writing/poem in or on the lines of your shape/thing.  I made my poem about a star. Hope you like my poem and please give me some feedback. See you next time!

Hi everyone on March 26th my class did a Summer Haiku. We learnt that Haiku's are basically Japanese poems that can only have 3 lines. The first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables and lastly, the third line has 5 syllables just like the first one. It was really fun and since it was about Summer, in my opinion, it was even more fun to think about the sentences themselves! Here is my Summer Haiku, Adios!

Road Safety

In week 3 of term 2, our school started a poster about "Road Safety Week" It was a competition to see who would win and if you came in between places 1 - 5 then you get a prize! My class first planned in our art book, it took a few days but we finally finished it... well everyone except me and a couple of other people. Once we've finished planning we redid it on an A4 piece of paper and if we missed up we could only get about 2 more pieces of paper. In the end, 2 people from my class got a prize one was a boy and one was a girl, what a coincidence don't you agree? Thank you for reading this blog and hope you have a pleasant day!
